Swiftkay ("we," "us," or "our") provides home, Airbnb, and office cleaning services in Florida through cleaners hired, trained, and managed by Swiftkay. We do not operate as an open marketplace that assigns unrelated third-party contractors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account data: When you sign up via our authentication provider (Clerk), we receive your email address and any profile information you supply.
- Booking data: Service address, phone number, preferred date and time, and the number of cleaning hours selected.
- Payment data: We use Stripe to process payments. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers; Stripe handles and encrypts all payment details under PCI-DSS standards.
- Cleaner applications: If you apply to join the Swiftkay cleaning team, we collect your name, contact details, work experience, availability, and any documents you submit.
- Communications: Any messages or support inquiries you send us.
Information collected automatically:
- Log and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.
- Cookies, local storage, and marketing tools: We use cookies for authentication sessions, localStorage for certain in-app state, internal event tracking for funnel analytics, and Meta Pixel for advertising attribution and conversion measurement.
- Device data: Browser version, operating system, and viewport size for UI optimization.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and authenticate your identity.
- To process bookings, schedule Swiftkay team cleaners, and fulfill the cleaning services you request.
- To process payments and send receipts through Stripe.
- To send service confirmations, reminders, and post-job follow-up communications via email or SMS.
- To share your service address and booking window with the specific Swiftkay cleaner assigned to your job so they can fulfill the service.
- To respond to support requests and resolve disputes.
- To improve our platform, detect fraud, and maintain security.
- To comply with applicable law and legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only in the following circumstances, and only as needed to operate the service:
- Assigned Swiftkay cleaners: The Swiftkay cleaner assigned to your booking receives your service address, first name, phone number, and scheduled time, but only the information needed to complete the job. These cleaners are part of the Swiftkay team, not a rotating pool of unrelated marketplace contractors.

- Hosting and infrastructure: Our platform is hosted on services including Vercel and Neon. These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights and safety of Swiftkay, our users, or the public.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@swiftkay.com. Note that certain records (e.g., completed transaction records) may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with financial and tax law.
5. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.

We use essential cookies for authentication sessions (managed by Clerk), functional localStorage for site state, internal analytics event logging, and Meta Pixel for marketing attribution and conversion tracking. Those tools help us understand page views, quote submissions, booking progress, and completed purchases. Where required, we will provide additional notice or consent options for advertising-related tracking.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete it.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and secure third-party processors. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of Swiftkay after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
